Reading Laimo's Fires Rising with the flu. I'm reading it right now with a ghastly sinus infection and it's freaking me out. The scene where the Bizet record plays backwards freaked me out. I can't imagine what visions this book is making you see with the flu.
Look at it this way: it's the perfect excuse to sit and read all day with a hot toddy<no more than one shot of liquor in your tea, otherwise Fires Rising will take on a whole new meaning.

I'm nursing a head cold today to. A bad one. I've spent the whole day in bed. Can't sit up for very long.

I'll be cancelling the radio appearance because I can't sit up for very long.

Horrordude. I actually was hallucinating last night... kept seeing spiders running across the floor. When my fever broke the spiders went away. Am still have whacky nightmares though.
