Hey there. So I may be new to the board but I'm certainly not new to Edward Lee. I have been reading and tracking down his books for awhile. Now I've noticed a little something in a few of his books/stories. San Angelo, Texas has been mentioned more than once. Now, I live in Texas and maybe a hour and a half away from San Angelo in a town a little smaller called Brownwood. I was just wondering if there's some type of story behind it or was it just random.

But anyway that's my question. And to Ed, just want to add that I've loved all your books and I swear they just keep getting better. I just fucking loved Gast to death. I got my copy of The Minotauress last week and I'll start on that next after I get finished reading The Chosen. So you keep writing em, I'll keep reading em.

Thanks for the reply Ed! Yes, Goodfellow is still open as I've heard. I didn't know about Henery Lee Lucas though. I knew he was from Texas but had no idea about him being sentenced in the San Agelo court. That is cool.

Oh and I finsished The Minotauress and The Horn Cranker. I loved both. I loved the fact that you made all those connections in The Minotauress.(The Bighead, Mr. Torso, just to name a few) That just made it even more fun to read.

Also The Horn Cranker....loved it. It had a delightfully twisted "happy" ending. The fact that he reverted back to beating women and that she actually found his love in that was a fun twist. Have you ever worried that someone will accuse you of condoning violence toward women? I mean, I'm sure your readers know it's all in good fun and it IS just a story and all, but there are other close minded people out there.

Oh and 1 other thing that I must ask. "Shirley's big tits wobbled beneath the sheer nightgown..." That should sum up the question. It looked as though you had a bet with someone to see how many times you could use that phrase or something.

Anyway thanks for writing all the amazing books that you write. I really can't express that enough. Your books get me through all my breaks at work. They also just take me away from everything. I can never laugh and be disgusted so much at the same time as I am when I'm reading your stuff. So thank you for that.
