Sigh. Under normal circumstances it doesn't bother me. I'm used to it. But the observation becomes blatant after a trip to Necon.

Will be really glad when this roommate moves out. She's freaking out because I ate the popcorn (3 bags over the course of a month). I'm freaking out because she still owes me $145 plus her half of the utilities and the rent is due on the 1st.

Come home from walking my dog to see the cops all up and down my block. Turns out that a domestic violence call turned into be a hostage situation. Took 4 hours to resolve. The SWAT guys were laughing because the "man" came flying out of the door when the second flash bang went off and right before the tear gas went off. Everything went better than expected. Everyone thought he killed his baby mama but he didn't. Nobody died.

I have a car! It's been awhile. Had to pay the DMV to get my license back. Ex told me she paid my fines while I was laid up. Turns out she didn't. Insurance is cheap and in the next couple of years, I will not even have to take it in for inspections. It'll qualify for antique status.

Life sure can be depressing at times. It seems like our life is built on circles that surround a large globe, and we just flop from one to another until we wind up back where we started. Be nice if an oblong or even a triangle popped up out of nowhere once in awhile.
