...about writing and the buzz from NeCon got me thinking about a story on the way home from work. It is one of the darkest things I've ever thought writing a story about...way dark, bordering on extreme. I hope to start it tonight.

Got about 250 quality words done! The first paragraphs of a story are the hardest for me, I actually wrote about 1000 words and kept revising and revising and editing until I got it down to this. A good start, and a totally new direction in narrative for me. Now I got two stories going at once...I hate that. I don't know how Janet does it.

As for me, I've got some vague ideas for three separate stories that have been rattling around for months. Simply been buried in other work for as long as I can remember. I've got this last week of class and our vacation afterwards, and then I'll no longer have any excuses not to write them. I'm also hoping our writing exercise jumpstarts my creative center...

Oddly enough, I have titles for all three - I think I needed the keywords to keep them floating in my memory...

"Retribution"
"The God of Much Too Soon"
"T.T. Zuma's Home for Wayward Authors"


Okay, I admit I didn't have the name T.T. Zuma in my head for the title. I put that in there because I dodn't have a person's name in mind and he started this thread - but the "Home for Wayward Authors" is correct.
