Just found out my high school is having a reunion in a couple years. Has anyone ever been to their reunion? How awkward was it?

Haven't been and don't want to go. I really think it depends on how much you liked high school and the people you went there with. There are a few old classmates I enjoy talking to on Facebook, but that's it. I have one pushing me to go to my 25th this fall. I refuse to go.

Not me. I was a gormless and hopeless teenager. Didn't like high school. Awkward, didn't fit. I hope everyone in my year did well and everything's cool, but no...

I went to my 10th and 20th. It was o.k. as I still saw many of the same friends I had when I graduated.

I just got an email announcing the 40th + year reunion (hey, it was the early 70's - the drugs were better back then and none of us can remember dates anymore), and I told my wife that I had no desire to go.

I haven't been to any of mine. My 20th was last year but I had just as much desire to go see those people as I did every day when I went to school with them. There's a reason I still talk to a whole 2 people I went to high school with.

I only went to my 10th and I don't even know why I did that. My 30th was in 2009 and I had absolutely no desire to go.

My 40th is next year. I have never been to one and don't plan on starting now.

I've had friends ask me as favors to them. Didn't go but did drive through town to see them. They forgot that I was persona non grata until the cops started pulling me over. It also didn't help that the cops showed up at 3 in the morning asking about my car. That was my cue to go.

Not very interested if my trip back is going to see more of the same.
