I think that performance reviews should be banned. The should totally be banned when the person you are having issues with is allowed to sit in on your performance review. I came thisclose to quiting my job today. And after being unemployed so long before that says something.

Just heard from the doctor on my shoulder pain. The MRI showed tendon degeneration. Looks like I am to suffer pain from it for the rest of my life. Fortunately it's manageable and not overwhelming. I never should have taken up body building, pro football, boxing, synchronized parachuting, and filling in for Keith Moon during that Who tour. Oh well, live and learn.

A friend of mine is bitching because he can't use his G.I. Bill. He got laid off (same company, third time) and has decided to go back to school as an electronics engineer. It's what he does. He's crying that it's all Obama's fault. I had to remind him that Obama wasn't the one who put a cap on it. According to the paperwork I filled out in 1996, it states that we have 10 years from the end of active/reserve duty to use our G.I. Bill or we lose it. the first time he got laid off was in 08. I told him then that he had better use it. Two years later, he got laid off again and I made the case for going back to college. He ignored me. And now that he's been laid off a third time, he can't use it because he got out of the Navy in 2002. It's Obama's fault because he's a dumbass.

Heeeeeellllllllllloooooooo Monday...

Tried that new Mt. Dew KickStart Orange Citrus. You'd think that the primary ingredients would be orange juice and well...citrus fruits. WRONG! It's apple juice. I drank about 1/3 of the can and knew something was wrong. I'm allergic to apple juice. My face started to tingle and I started losing color in my vision. I was really thirsty too.

When I drink apple juice I get tunnel vision and can only see light grey and dark grey. My head feels like a water balloon and my hearing...Imagine stuffing your ears full of cotton balls, then fill ear protectors with more cotton balls and putting those on, and then wrapping your head in a pillow. Next, have your friend stand about 20 feet away and yell at you. I've been hospitalized for it.
