KATRINA AND THE FRENCHMAN: A JOURNAL FROM THE STREET has been doing well. After only two months I was able to send a nice donation to Common Ground Relief in New Orleans. It's been difficult reliving some of those memories, but feeling like I can finally help has made a huge difference.

Yes, the twins are keeping me busy.
However, now that they can run and climb it's getting easier. I know it's the opposite with one-at-a-time kids, but it's hard to carry two babies everywhere. It also means they're wearing themselves out and sleeping like rocks, so I might find some time in the near future to start a new writing project!Might. Maybe. Hopefully! I'm ITCHING to get back into the swing. As most writers know, we tend to get a little... wonky if we can't write. I can't afford to get even MORE wonky. I already know what the book will be about, derived from a short story.
