Hi All - I haven't been around much. Someone made an offer on the site and for a while I was seriously considering selling the site. It's been weighing heavy on my mind. I've been doing this for 10 years - that's a long time in this business. Many sites have come and gone during that time, but Horror World has stayed strong. I've invested quite a bit of my life, time, tears and frustrations on this site. It's not an easy decision to make. There have been many website issues lately; problems getting the pages uploaded, issues with my provider, and other frustrations (hard drive crashes and software issues amongst them). I finally came to a decision. I've decided to keep the site but pare it back and update it. Over the next several months I will be moving the whole site into WordPress. WP currently houses the Reviews, Announcements and Columns. I will be eliminating a lot of pages. Pod of Horror is currently on hiatus and I'm not sure where Mark will be going with it but it will always have a home here. Once the pages have been moved over, there will be one massive archive for everything else, I will have the site "re-skinned" with a new look and feel. I'm not sure what it will look like but it's time to update, upgrade and simplify. If you have any suggestions, comments, concerns, please feel free to post it here or private message me. I want to thank everyone for their support over the years. The changes won't happen overnight and I hope to do everything without taking down the site. See you all on the other side... |

Good luck, Nanci! I used to do all of my websites by hand-editing HTML files. A few years ago, I switched over to WordPress, and I have to say, maintaining the sites has been much easier since I did. The is still a mixture of WordPress and my hand-edited files, but the rest are all WordPress. Hunter |

Thanks Hunter - yes, it's a project. I'm thankful to Deena Warner Design and Matt Warner for getting WP set up for me and giving me some on-the-fly lessons. Now, it's moving everything over and creating the pages. There's probably going to be an Archives for the whole site to keep the amount of work to a minimum. |

I'm tired, hungover from my girls night out in Vagas with Eva (who totally thinks you and the rest of the guys on here are weird) and Sandy. I've got to fly to Hollyweird and coach Sandy on her NJ accent next week. I won't tell her you said hi |
