Great Episode! My favorite in fact for obvious reasons. I must say I'm convinced that any story read by Mark is improved tenfold at least. I read that story on Christmas Night to some family members and I wasn't able to do anywhere near as good a job. Thanks Mark! ![]() Also enjoyed Nanci and Mark on The Call of Kalanta (BTW I also enjoy the lyrics of the Grinch song. I like the line about preferring the sea-sick crockodile the best). The interviews were fun and informative as always. I read Mystery Walk by McCammon and thought it was a great tale. At first I wasn't too sure I'd be interested in a novel about a space football team but the more Mr. Sigler talked about it I became more intrigued by it. I'm really enjoying Jason's Moonshine Matinee. He laughed many times while hearing his take on things. I watched Paranormal Activity this past week and he was right it is an awesome film. Thanks again to all involved, Matt |

Congrats on the story selection, Matt! I got to listen to it again in full on the trip to work yesterday and enjoyed it even more the second time around (first listen was slightly marred by alcohol). Great job and kudos on the subtle set-up concerning the prior year in the story. Hope everybody had a wonderful holiday. I'm stoked to hear about McCammon's "The Five". Football aliens sound like a total win. And I hope Nanci doesn't think all us Kentuckians are jackasses after that phone-in reply! Yikes! Happy holidays, y'all! |
