| Post subject: | Bentley Little Fans? |
I'm reading his new one, His Father's Son, and it's made me realize how much Little seems to fly under my radar. I almost always enjoy his novels (my favorite is The Store), and, so far, the new one is quite good. Little seems to be a stealth author in this electronic age, with no blog,Twitter or Facebook appearances. It's almost a throwback to 20 or 30 years ago when I would find out about an writer's new book when I saw it on the rack at the local news stand. Any other Little fans here? If so, do you have a favorite book? |

I think the one I've enjoyed the most was "The Resort" and the one I liked the least was "Dispatch". I've also read "The Mailman" and "The Association" and heard a couple of his stories from "The Collection" (which were a bit too much for me, I mean, murderous macaroni foam?). I've also started "The Vanishing". I do look forward to his work and I'd like to read some old stuff like "The Store" or "The House". What's this new one about? |

i love bentley. just like ed lee and wrath james white. little isn't as hardcore as the former two, but little was my first introduction to hardcore horror, after stephen king and koontz. have all his books, and my true favorite is the store and university. in april / may his next book is published. haunted. cant wait. strange there isnt a forum on bentley. he deserves it. |

I really like Little. My favourites are The Collection (short stories) and The Store. I do find some of his novels repetitive but I am always excited when a new Bentley Little books come out. |

the only weakness of little are his endings. they are not the strongest parts in his books. i realy love the store and the summoning. his hardcore stuff books i find the greatest. university, dominion etc. great stuff, but nowhere near as grusome as edward lee or wrath james white. |
