My wife bought me the Colts Superbowl run DVD. I remember the first Phantasm movie being very good, but they really got bad after that one. The last one was I wouldn't even catagorize as horror. I always liked the Tall Man and the little troll things that worked for him. The spheres were cool too. I can't remember anymore, did they ever say what the sphere's were supposed to be? |

I rented and watched a movie tonight that starred Angus Scrimm in it. He was the guy who played The Tall Man in the Phantasm movies. This was a low budget film called, The Off Season, A Ghost Story. It wasn't bad. Some of the acting was bad, but not Angus, I enjoyed him being in it. He actually plays a good guy in this one. The Making Of section for the film interviewed him a great deal and lets you see what a neat fellow he is. He even wrote his own country song for use in the film, since they didn't have the budget to get the rights to a well known one. You can tell that he did this movie for next to nothing but he did a good job in it none the less. ![]() |
