I know I haven’t checked in here much lately. 2011 has repeatedly kicked me in the balls, leaving me little time for anything but doubling over in pain. I’m behind on a lot of things. First, and most importantly, Norma’s recovery continues on pace. Maybe even a little ahead of schedule. It’s scary how close I came to losing her, and her care has been my top priority since the end of May. I had to take a couple of long breaks in writing Dead Earth: Sanctuary, but it’s finished. Dave reports that it’s off to the publisher. When we get a publication date, we’ll let you know. I’m still waiting on a firm date for The Dead Sheriff: Zombie Damnation. The publisher has been a little behind schedule, but assures me everything is moving along. Meanwhile, I’m working on the second Dead Sheriff book, and expect to have it completed before the first one is released. Next up for me is a straight horror novel, which I hope to start in late February, then a humorous mystery. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do, so we’ll see how it goes. I have no plans to abandon horror, though. So, what are you up to? |

It was the best Christmas ever. We got to do something very cool for a family that was down on their luck. I'll blog about it soon. How was yours? |
