Being Full of Light, Insubstantial, Linda D. Addison's new poetry collection from Space and Time, is available for ordering right now and, until September 15th, can be purchased postage-free for $10 from Space and Time Books, 138 West 70th Street (4B), NY, NY, 10023-4468. (After that date, please include $1.50 for shipping).
As many of you know, Linda was the first African-American to receive a Bram Stoker Award from the Horror Writers Association, for her previous poetry collection, Consumed, Reduced to Beautiful Grey Ashes. This collection contains one-hundred poems, most seen here for the first time, and is already generating raves and buzz (Necon co-founder Bob Booth dipped into an advanced copy, grabbed Linda and said I wasn't getting her back – and Bob has done quite a lot of reading and knows his stuff! We got away only through a clever ruse engineered by Kelly Laymon to distract the Necon staff - those of you who were there know what I'm talking about, and as for the rest of you: what happens at Necon stays at Necon.)
It will be available shortly on www.amazon.com and other book dealers if you want to wait. However, if you order directly from Space and Time, you can ask for your copy to be signed.
