Hey, gang. As a number of you know I had a hell of summer. Spent five weeks in the hospital following a fall which shattered my left elbow. The surgery on that was hell on my kidneys which already sucked. So after two weeks I was released back into the world with a fresh new catheter in my chest for starting dialysis. Two days later I was rushed back to the hospital unable to breathe. I was admitted with pneumonia, pulmonary edemas and a staph infection. Then I died. Was brought back. Didn't see anything on the otherside. Spent 6 days in a coma. Woke up and ripped the tubes out of my throat. Spent that first night out of the coma having massive horror hallucinations. Got super paranoid and managed to summon all my strength and get out of bed. Took four nurses to wrestle me into another room. Spent the 2 weeks in the hospital starting dialysis and having mini nervous breakdowns. Been home for two months now. Dialysis is a pain in the ass. Good thing I work from home because it's three four hour sessions a week. One good thing is I lost 40 pounds. Bad thing is a got a lot of flappy skin. LOL So I'm back at it. I've published 4 books in two months. You'll see a run of new posts announcing all these releases. So I'm still here and moving on. Later Dave B. |

Thanks. It was rough and still tough at times, but I feel better than I have in a long long time. |
