With the takeover of BLP's Morning Star press by Dark Fuse, is that going to have any effect on the hoped for SERENITY FALLS reprint?? I've read the Meisha Merlin version and would like to reread it without all the awful editing snafu's. I seem to recall in the MM version there were whole pages where the characters suddenly had different names. |

Okay, first, no, DARK FUSE isn't taking over Morningstar. They're handling the electronic editions of Morningstar's stuff. And no, that won't stop the SERENITY FALLS books from coming out. And yeah, the MM versions were...well, there were major league issues. |

Well according to a press release DarkFuse has acquired Morning Star. DarkFuse Acquires Morning Star Feb 13, 2012 01:04 pm In a deal that was finalized last month, DarkFuse has acquired the publishing imprint Morning Star from Larry Roberts. Roberts, the founder, will remain the editor-in-chief during and after the transition. ...In a statement, DarkFuse's managing publisher, Shane Staley, had the following to say, "I'm excited about this venture and to add such a fine imprint to DarkFuse's roster. Morning Star has been my favorite imprint from Larry's publishing ventures. Larry and I have worked well together for many years as business partners at Horror Mall and at Infernal House, so we both expect a smooth transition." The inventory of Morning Star's past releases are now available directly through DarkFuse. |

Me being wrong would hardly be a first. The fact that Larry is staying in as editor is likely the source of my confusion. That and, you know, the egg on my face. |
