In the way of news–as I reported last time–I’m done with Dunwich Romance (and I really dig it). It’s to be published by Bad Moon Books in limited hardcover. Regrettably, the publisher, Roy Robbins, is detained for several week for personal reasons, but when those are cleared up, I would expect the production process to begin. A year after the hc comes out, there’ll be a trade paperback, of course. Some may breath a sigh of relief in that DR is the last project I’ll write in imitation of Lovecraft’s style for some time, but there will be more HPL-connected projects down the road which will be contemporary. Now I’ve just started HEADS (Header 3) and hope to post an excerpt in a few weeks. This will be cool, I can promise!

Also cool is recent news that I’ve sold translation rights of Succubi to Poland and with any luck Incubi will be contracted after that–knock on wood. Additionally, I just got a 4-book deal for German rights for Flesh Gothic, Black Train, Creekers, and–believe it or not!–The Bighead. It’s been a great couple of weeks, and I feel very fortunate to have these opportunities, and I thank God for ‘em–and Yog-Sothoth too.

I’ll be returning to MD on May 10 and coming back to FL May 17th. Jeez, if I only had more time to write I’d REALLY be kicking some tail! I’ll try to be back on the board before the 17th. Until then, all of you take care and be well, and have a great weekend!

TROLLEY was one of the best things I have read in many a blue moon. The HPL stuff has been fun.
Good luck on all your re-releases and get them Japanese reading your stuff. This would be great for them perverts! They need some distraction from all the earthquakes and tsunamis and giant monsters wrecking their cities..........

Good luck with the German releases. When even Laymon's books sometimes get censored then at least Bighead shouldn't stand a chance. Flesh Gothic could get through unharmed. Haven't read the other two yet.
I also think it should be an impossibility to translate the redneck language properly. But so at least German people get to know Edward Lee. With only two titles from the Infernal series available in German Lee's even labelled as "Gothic fantasy" author on some websites! Bighead and Flesh Gothic would definitely teach them better

Lee, I had those Ipswich clams just as you suggested at the Quincy Market. My girlfriend and I ate the hell out of em'. Fantastic! Also, went to the oldest running restaurant establishment in the USA via downtown Boston - The Oyster House - and sat at the little bar where they bring in the fresh Oysters, dump them on ice, shuck them right in front of us, and serve them directly. AMAZING!!! After that, we went next door to the oldest bar in the USA (we love history) - Bell in Hand - and had us a couple of brews. Although it was $15 for 2 drafts, had a hell of a time. Boston kicked ass! Also, BRIDES is shipping from CD now. YES!!! Take care. Bob

Thanks for the kind words, all. And, Bob, man, don't mention ipswich clams, cos now I'm gonna have to find some tomorrow. Pegleg, man, I like the look of Grosskopf! This publisher in Germany is starting to sound very promising. I'd LOVE to have my hardcore stuff published in another country.

Note: I just got back from MD last night, going back to MD on the 24th. (Can't believe I'll be in friggin' Maryland on my birthday. But I will treat myself to some blue crabs.) I gotta catch my old breath for a day or two, then I'll report back on recent news. Until then--
