I know there are some serious collectors on the board that might be interested in knowing that Alan M Clark has several original pieces of artwork for sale that were done specifically for Deadite Press books.
Right now he has the artwork from "Trolley No. 1852" and "The Haunter of the Threshold" along with a piece done for Bryan Smith's "Rock and Roll Reform School Zombies." Last week, I got to visit Clark's home and see the pieces. The book covers look great but they're nothing compared to the originals. Clark's paintings see to glow when viewed in person and the level of detail is astounding.
Well I decided to get a little carried away and borrow from the book-buying budget.
I managed to get the Trolley 1852 cover painting. And while I was at it I managed to get Alex McVey's painting from the Bloodletting Press version of Trolley 1852.
They'll look great once they are framed and hung side by side.
Alan Clark truly is a magnificent artist (not to mention a great guy.) It was a special thrill and a big surprise when I was first told that many of my Deadite covers would consist of his outstanding artwork. I can't wait to see what's next!
