That is so cool! I never knew they made these. Too bad I don't have extra cash... I wonder if these came with the hardcover version? Maybe as a preorder bonus? Anyone know?

I was offered one for sale many years ago. I declined. The seller said it had been hand painted by Mr, Edward Lee himself! Ed, any comments here?

Oh, the Goon Doll! That's another think I'd forgotten about. They were indeed painted by John Pelan and I. As I recall we bought discounted Bane dolls. Then John's wife got some kind of glue to make the burgeoning crotches. I think, too, we made them to order, and sold maybe 7 of them? Or maybe more. I do remember being grateful for the appearance of the money (which I spend almost exclusively at the bar!) I had a doll for myself but I believe it got crushed in a moving box (or did I step on it accidently one night--drunk?)
