ok im only on page 28, but i have been bombarded by cliche... with a line like: " The branch had nailed Earl hard, and had popped his face open, releasing the fluids kept inside, blasting his siblings and Paige in the face with what felt like congeling vomit thst stank of bacon".... What!? First of all, bacon doesnt stink ( of course, if it is forgot bacon in your fridge. )... and of course the: Lost husband ( who, by gosh, wont admit he is lost...) getting the biz by his wife who ( of course) is right..... im only on pg 28, but , holy crap: every sentence seems like a walking, talking cliche. Maybe, Victor Heck's A DARKNESS INBRED will prove me wrong. Maybe he is trying to cliche me to death and then comes one of the " most disturbing books I've ever read."....
