Hi, folks. Sorry I've been tardy on the board, I'm still dragging my old ass around picking up the yard after the hurricane, and have been chainsawing hunks of the blown down fence that are still hanging on the posts. I'm not cut out for this manual labor stuff! Anyway, on another more interesting note, today I received my contrib copies of my very first appearance in a DC Comics production, their Halloween special, called DC HOUSE OF HORROR. Not sure if it's in stores yet but I suspect it will be shortly. Also on board are the great writers, Brian Keene, Wrath James White, Bryan Smith, Mary Sangiovanni, Nick Cutter, Weston Ochse, and Richard Malfi--fine company indeed. I hope you can all check this ish out; it's a hoot! Also, as previously mentioned, I'll be attending the Orlando Spooky Empire Con from Oct 26-29. It would be great if some of you could make it. Just read the book today. It was a lot of fun! How did it work? Did Giffen send you a basic outline and then you turned it into a straight up script? Did you like doing it? Will you do it again? All the stories were great. It was a cool else worlds style anthology. My favorite stories were yours and Cutter's (I still really need to check out his Cutter books, only read his necro releases under the other name). Hope you guy get to go a second one! |

Yes, Keith G did the basic rudiments of the story and I fleshed it out. The entire experience was wonderful and I'd love to do more work for him. I was very happy with the project (however, I did have a younger Martha and a nude scene but that was a no-go!) Thanks very much for the kind words, and have a ghoulish Halloween! Best Edward Lee |
