Dave @ Necro has announced a hardcover edition. You have until March 15 to decide if you want to buy one for $150. With the success of his last Ed Lee project it looks like he is doubling down! (Got mine pre-ordered.)

FINALLY!!!!!

Wow, a DELUXE release of GHOULS!!!! This is easily one of my top three Edward Lee books. I read it last year and around the second page I remember wondering just what the hell I waited so long for. Lee says it has too much "tech" but that was one of the things I loved about it. Being that it was his first novel (third actually) Id love to get some incite into the writing of that book. There were so many parts I re read because of the style of the description.

Cant wait to have this baby on my shelf and to see what it reads like in HARDCOVER!!!! :p

Waiting...waiting...waiting...

Got it pre-ordered and everything. I can't wait for this any longer.

I've tracked down so many Edward Lee rarities lately I'm becoming somewhat concerned about the day I no longer have any Edward Lee gems to hunt for.

Next step, melts see Vampire Lodge get the hard cover it deserves.

Decayed: I must be wrong but wasn't their a limited run of Vampire Lodge hc's? Damn, I can't remember anything!

As for GHOULS hc, I have lunch with Dave B and Camelot yesterday and got my contrib copy of the hc, and must say, it's gorgeous! Hard to believe the story is almost 30 years old!

Thanks to all for your support!

Geeze... This'll be a late reply. I dug this up from page two, i missed your question about Vampire Lodge.

No, there wasn't a limited harcover run, not yet anyway. Its becoming one of those things where you really hope someone gets around to it, because if they dont, the Edward Lee hardcover collection will forever remain incomplete.

I've tracked down soooo many rarities lately. Ed Lee books I thought I just would never own, but low and behold, they're on my shelf as I type.

I would say the Lettered copy of GAST is the most impressive as of late. I bought it online while sitting in an A&W in Hope, BC. The same town where Rambo was filmed. It was raining and I needed a coffee. Sat down, pulled up the ebay and BAM!! Pulled the trigger on it, which was amazing because I had been eyeing it since a previous road trip, when I noticed it in a Penticton motel. Guess it was meant to be. The Chadbourne art print is amazing. The one where the woman is reaching her arms through the ground.

Just like when I got the 1996 hardcover Bighead last year, I was litterally shaking as i opened the package and held it for the first time. I still can't believe I have it.

Anyway, id love so much to see a Vampire Lodge hardcover. I'd buy one in a second...Hopefully, one day.

Maybe Camelot or Dave Barnett can do a pre-order harcover limited, at the very least.

Im going to make a separate post about recent Ed Lee acquisitions.

Man, this is so bizarre but I thought sure there was a limited hc of Vampire Lodge. (And it's pathetic that I, the author, don't know!) I look into it. and thank you wonderful collectors so much for your steadfast support. It's folks like you who make this gig all worthwhile. Have a terrific 2016!

Ghouls was my first Edward Lee book. I'm glad to see it's getting more recognition after all these years.

Old as it is, I remember Ghouls fondly and remember much of the writing process. What a blast it was. It sold very well but in spite of that I was let go by the publisher, the bastards! But thanks to all of you who bought it!

Best

I pick up up from time to time to read it again. I still enjoy it. Thanks for the great stories, if I may.
