Friends, I'm back from Poland, and I guess it's high time even though I wish I were still there. Fantastic trip even with the crummy weather. The place has really spoiled me; first thing I did when I got home was go to the grocery store and buy 4 different brands of smoked salmon. They were all mediocre and cost twice as much as the outstanding stuff I got in Poland. Then I went to Walmart, and realized how much better the Polish equivalent is (called Carefour). Then I went to a mall and found that the Polish malls--I kid you not are far more interesting, classier, and possessed of better variety. Yesterday I was hectored by nasty, unpleasant bums: you give these assholes money and they cuss at you. Sorry to sound discompassionate. There's none of that in Poland, and there are no able-bodied 25 year olds with friggin food cards. Anyway, I love my country even with its faults but, jiminee!--Poland rocks. I hope to return for a week in August. But now Im back to my reality and am working, first, on a short story to fill up a short collection, then I start my next novel, and on weekends I continue with my movie endeavors. I'm in the process of LLC-ing my "production house"; it will be called City Infernal Films. That has a decent ring to it, doesn't it? Thus far I've shot 4 scenes for Cornface, which have some rough parts but are are satisfactory and cool, especially the gorehouse scene I shot in Poland. Meanwhile, in Florida, I've found what appears to be a solid outlet for actresses looking for nude and semi nude modeling jobs. Haven't hired anyone yet but plan to soon. The trick is findinig a girl willing to do dialogue AND be nude AND allow me to drawn diabolic and alchemical diagrams on them AND be splattered with fake blood, fake sperm, fake monster vomit, and the like. Now I'm off to Home Depot for a suitable compression spring for my Gut Cannon. Thanks as always for your support and have a great weekend! Edward Lee |

I don't know where to start.... I enjoyed reading that (especially the last part about nude models!) almost as much as reading one of your books! |

City Infernal Films is a good choice. Glad to hear you had such a great time in Poland, man. Sounds like it'd be a very interesting place to visit. Good luck with the nude modeling jobs outlet. I'm always amazed when women will be in a movie for seconds but are willing to be nude for it. Maybe that's where the tight budget mavericks have to look to find them.
