Post subject:  My Lee Collection

It was due to DaFratH0 that sparked the idea. He listed some of his numbered collection and that made me go back over some of my books and flick through number etc. I thought how proud I was of my little collection. I dont have all the ultra rare stuff but I am proud of what i do have.

It all started in Aug 2010 with amazon.co.uk, they recommended a collection of short stories by an author i had never heard of 'Edward Lee' the collection was Brain Cheese Buffet, I took a £6.66 punt along with Bullet Through The Face also £6.66.

From there I was hooked, Ed Lee has become one of my fav authors and thanks to eBay, Jizzlefinger, Babaganoosh and a few other traders my collection has grown quite nicely. I know there will be collections out there way bigger and better than this but I thought that I would post anyway.

Thought it might be a good thread people can add to. When i managed to upload pics i''ll add those too.

Not bad for just over 2 years, my wife would certainly have something to say if she knew how much I have spent in such a short time! :<

Now nearly 3 in Aug!!!

4 years this Aug, how time flies. The shorts in Brain Cheese are still as fresh as when I read them four years back.

Header DVD after 4 years of Lee, what a way to celebrate.

Wow. That is an insane amount of Ed Lee reading in two years. You, good sir, are now permanently warped! I find myself editing my conversation in order to not freak out the muggles...

Thanks for picking it up; hopefully I'll be able to sign it for you some day. Sorry about the Portrait flub (damn I can't even remember how many hc's were printed.) And, trust me, The Cadaver is such an exercise of poor taste, you're better off not reading it!

Take care!

A mega mega huge thank you to Mr Jizzlefinger again. Can't leave him feedback so have to big him up on here.

Haunter Of The Threshold Signed/HB #132 just dropped on the door, and may I say what a fucking sweet looking bad ass book, just shot to the finest Ed Lee in the collection.

Read this one a while back thanks to Deadite, may re read it soon. Not this copy though, I think it would cut the blood supply off from my legs if I read it in bed.

Thanks again Mr Finger and well done Lee on such a fine looking book! :*

The Internal House thing was a fair bit overblown The reason I like hardcovers is that I can more easily get lost in the story. That book was so big it was a constant distraction.

Hardback Ushers#54 added over the summer. Not lettered but my pockets are only so deep. Did manage to read the Cadaver during the summer. I do know someone with a lettered. May have to practice my breaking and entering skills!

Just making a nice space for my copy of Header 3 that is gonna be out real soon and full of illustrations that top Header 2 and Gast.

nudge nudge, wink wink Mr Lee.

Just picked up a hard copy of The Minotauress, great story, I shouldn't but I love Dicky and Balls. I liked the Horncranker too. Minotauress is one book a did actually feel scared reading. I thought the scene while they were creeping round the house in the dark was really well written.

I know want to find hard signed copies of
PORTRAIT OF THE PSYCHOPATH AS A YOUNG WOMAN ( w/ Elizabeth Steffen)
and
SPLATTERSPUNK

I know there are many more Lee treasures to collect bit at the mo these are all my funds will possibly stretch to.

Post subject:  Re: My Lee Collection

I will probably put them up for sale on eBay this Sunday. I am not sure if they are going to sell on the open market for what I would want for them in a private sale.........So, in order to not put either of us in a bad spot...
I have a number of Edward Lee hardcovers that I am planning to sell this year. I will probably wait until fall to get serious about selling all my extras.
If you win the auctions I will just charge exact postage.
I am reading Portrait right now. The story is so fucking tight. Love it.

The books are listed. We will see how this goes. I have another 20 or so Ed Lee hardcovers and lettered editions that I want to eventually sell. Wild how I end up with so many duplicate copies.

Thanks Jack/Jizzlerfinger for holding onto the hardback Op B that came today, much better size than the odd little paperback. Still two more to add off the immediate hit list. I do own them in paperback but would love hard copies. splatterpunk eluded me the other week. Keep trying. The next addition I hope will be a Header 3 signed hardback. :|

Big shout out to my man Jack Staynes aka Jizzlefinger

Just got a fine copy of Lucifer's Lottery from him. I always give he a push on here as I can't sing his praises through feedback on eBay.

If you want quality horror books check out his ebay store first.
