kindle uses wifi to download books and browse. in addition to the wifi, kindles use lithium dry cell rechargeable batterys, how biodegradeable is that ?  not to mention models of kindles become obsolete and theres various ebook formats. so if your device/ebook format becomes obsolete , you have no collection. hardcovers dont become obsolete do they? |

Nice points. As a person who has gone through a number of telephones I can attest to the short lived nature of convenient electronic devices. |
