Hey, folks. A milestone has just been affected: I'm posting on the board from MAryland via wi-fi! I just bought a 10-inch Acer netbook for traveling, and it's really cool. How I come to be on line from my mother's house, I can only guess I'm coattailing a neighbor's linksys. With any luck I'll be backin FL Tuesday night (the 12th) and will remain there for two weeks, so I should be able to get a LOT of work done on HEADS.

Anyway, I also wanted to info you all that I'll be a Killer Con in Vegas this year (Sept 22-25). I can't WAIT to get back to Vegas. It's dynamite. I'll be doing a reading (I'll do an excerpt of Dunwich Romance, and if that doesn't clear the room, maybe something from Haunter) and a panel or two. It would be great if some of you could make it.

Hi Ed, I just seen a post over at the Crypt saying you was gonna be there. This is awesome, I got myself down for Killercon this year and it's gonna be my first convention. I was excited to be meeting Wrath as I'm nuts deep into the Hardcore Siction, but now knowing you are gonna be there... hell this makes flying over from the UK barely even an inconvenience. Super stoked to finally be able to meet you Ed.

Yes, Jack, I saw your name on the attendee list. Man, I LOVE Vegas...and I don't even gamble. Squeaky, how far away do you live? The great thing about Vegas is the rooms are cheap, and the buffets are tremendous. The only oddity? Not ONCE did I see a prostitute! I thought Vegas casinos were supposed to be chock full of 'em. (Not that I'd ever solicit one...)

Man, this would have sold the trip for me. Can't afford it now unless I sell some books first (which would suck). It will take me some time to save up for this and I have never been to a con before. Do you know if you will go to the one next year?

Ed, there are prostitutes EVERYWHERE! They blend in so well because all the tourists dress just as provocative! When I was there for my wedding, my friend called for a few of them from his hotel room...and within MINUTES, they were knocking on the door.

I really wish I could get out to Vegas to meet you and hang out with the Deadite crew, etc. But I plan on flying to Portland for Bizarro Con in the fall and two big trips would kill me financially. Hope all you guys have fun!

Damn! I just got back from New York City for a trip, so there is no way we can do another big one this year! And I'm from Wisconsin, so it's a bit far to drive!! I'm hoping you will be starting to do a few more cons.....please?!!

I think you have to gamble to have a hooker come up to you....my dad was approached at a slot machine at 6 in the morning!!! And he's almost 70....haha!! I think she thought he had a lot of money. And we know you would never take up the offer!

But I'm glad you are making an appearance and Vegas is awesome!

I don't know if I'll be there next year, but I hope to do at least one con per year. I'll let you know. Jonah, Konnie, Jordan, sorry you can't make it this time. If I get approached by prostitutes, I'll let you know!
