Anyway! I just finished The Black Train today. I have got to say Mr. Lee, this is probably one of the most well written books I've read from you. I absolutely loved the characters and felt like I could relate to them in different ways...well except for Jiff uhhh and a few others. lol

I really loved the ending I might add. I kind of felt like this was a love story in a way as well as brutal and unnerving.

Great book! Fast read and I'd love to see more from you in the same vein as this!

Very kind of you to say so--thanks. I like the book a lot myself. My next Leisure book (which I'll start any day now) will switch back and forth between the present and, instead of the Civil War, the late 1600s. It'll involve a lot of research for the time but I know it'll be a blast. Take care and be well!

Just wanted to say I really enjoyed the book. I live in Oxford, MS, a place with a similar historical Civil War slant (Sherman burned a lot of it.) I don't live far from William Faulkner's house (and walking distance to his grave). I pictured the Ghast house to be similar exterior of his home and grounds. There are creeks in the surrounding woods and the old railroad is within walking distance. (He had a horse stable instead of an iron forge though.)

I guess I'm just trying to say that your setting was more detailed than many probably realize.

wow this book was great. I've been wanting to read this for a while and still have yet to read Gast. (is it more gruesome then black train?) - the characters were great, the story was nerving. i even found myself learning a few things. The book brings on all the emotions you want in one gang bang rape of a story. (i mean that in a good way )
thanks for keeping me engaged and entertained. I can't wait to get to the next book!

I just finished Black Train a few days ago. Really enjoyed it. It moves at a great pace.

The Prince of Beer seems not to be able to hold his ale very well though if he gets drunk after four or five pints.

sunnyvale: thanks for the kind words. Fyi, Gast only differs in that it has more quirky sex scenes than Train, which I didn't feel would go over well with the mass market audience. However, the sex scenes in upcoming books such as Header 2 and Going Monstering more than make up for these deletions. Thanks for your support!
