Howdy, All! I've read Keepers, Mr. Hands, Far Dark Fields, and a handful of Gary's short stories, and I've loved every single one of them. Which Braunbeck should I read next and why? |

I also probably should put in a good word for Prodigal Blues,,,,it is not on the supernatural side like most of his work,,,,but it is extremely emotional and the characters will stick with you for a while |

Thanks Adam and tt. I've heard Prodigal Blues is gut wrenching, but then again, so has everything I've read by Gary. I finish everything he write feeling emotionally exhausted, and I mean that in the best possible way. |

In Silent Graves is a MUST read. It about brought me to tears multiple times. Prodigal Blues and Coffin County are also excellent books. In fact, after reading Coffin County, you'll probably want to re-read Far Dark Fields, as some events will be much more clear. |

Thanks, Craig. I've heard about In Silent Graves for years but for some reason have never purchased it. I'll correct that soon. Thank for the rec! |
