http://girlsandcorpses.com Ready for hot girls and cold corpses… on your newsstand? Yes, Ingram Distributors has picked up Girls and Corpses Magazine. The infectiously funny publication will be sweeping the country like a comedy plague beginning October 15th just in time for Halloween! The magazine will also be sold in Canada and, starting in December, in Barnes & Noble and other fine bookstores. The first G&C issue on the newsstands will be the Premiere Collectors Edition featuring actress Sheri Moon Zombie on the cover with (husband) Rob Zombie’s corpse. The second issue cover features Danielle Harris on a noir Corpse Confidential cover and the third issue, will have Sid Haig and Scout Taylor Compton (star of “Halloween”) on the cover of the Rotting and Yachting 3-D issue. “Girls and Corpses is the first comedy magazine about death,” explains magazine founder Robert Steven Rhine, “We are already distributed by Diamond but we were dying to be on newsstands and Ingram happened to be ‘looking for something a little different.’ Boy did they get it! It’s Maxim meets ‘Dawn of The Dead’ in this comedy/horror blend -- with celebrity and band interviews, comic art, hysterical photos, reviews, spoofs, and a crypt full of comedy that’ll make you laugh 'til you croak.” “We’re MAD for the dead!” says Publisher/Deaditor-In-Chief R.S. Rhine; a writer, actor and ex-studio Unit Publicist for Universal and Columbia/Tri-Star. “Ever since I was a little corpse I dreamed of having a comedy magazine which could freak out my folks like my favorites MAD Magazine and National Lampoon. But until we got on the newsstands, the nightmare was not compete.
