Donna Summers was born with a curse. A curse that incited death upon innocent people on each anniversary of her birth, leading her into a life of loneliness and despair. It wasn't until she met Agent Jack Green, that her life would change. Jack didn't have all the details, but he knew people were dying, and that it was somehow connected to Donna.
He decided to seek medical assistance to try and cure the problem, but Donna's problems weren't medical. Jack grew to love Donna, but Donna feared letting anyone get that close to her, and though she was secretly attracted to him, she couldn't let him know.
As the anniversary of her birthday grew close, Donna feared her curse would once again prevail, taking away the people she'd grown close to. Would her demon curse succeed in destroying her life? Or would love prevail? Read Amber Grosjean's "Cursed Blood" to find out.
This is an unusual love story to say the least, but it's an interesting read. I didn't find it particularly scary, though it did have its moments of gore. I was mostly taken in by the relationship between Donna and Jack, which kept my interest. It's more of a supernatural romance or Fantasy, than horror, but it's a good read. I enjoyed it.
