This short story collection was one of the first things I brought for my Kindle and it's an amazing collection of brilliantly nasty, deeply disturbing, sick ,gross and horribly funny tales. I loved it to bloody bits. Take a holiday and give it a twist. Turn it into something more foul and scary than a Christmas sweater. From Earth Day to Easter, most are covered. There are 24 tales in all, including one by Wrath James White called Pascal's Wager, which I really enjoyed. It deals with a dying man's desire to please the Gods, but which God? I liked the way it deals with and questions the nature of faith and the conflicting ideas that govern religion also how far is one person willing to go to save his soul. It also has a great ending. Among the other contributing authors are Bentley Little, Jack Ketchum, Nate Southard and many more. Some authors I didn't know of but after reading this I am looking forward to finding out more about their work. It's a great collection of stories and if you can I recommend giving it a read. Thank you.
