First, some news:
I've added three more names to the contributors list for BOUND FOR EVIL: Curious Tales of Books Gone Bad:
Barbara Roden, Erin MacKay and newcomer Jeffrey Rice! By the way, I was completely blown away by what will be Rice's first sale, "The New Words"! But then, that's just the latest. I could mention the incredible Rhys Hughes tales (two of them), "Finding the Book of Sand" and "Lem's Last Book"; or MacKay's haunting "Letters Home" or Simon Strantzas' "Leather, Cold and Dark" or... (I know, enough!)

I've also reworked the web page that was causing so much trouble. Basically, the offending page is now little more than a big link to my blogger page. The blog has all the info, including the contributors list, and a PayPal button for preordering. You may view it at

Preorders: of the 500 copy print run, only 375 copies will be sold (over 100 copies will be going to contributors and several more to reviewers), and the retail price will be $80. (Not bad for an ultra-limited smythe-sewn hardcover bound in imitation leather and featuring a who's who of up and coming writers. Over 55 stories covering the entire spectrum of the weird tale: horror, fantasy, dark fantasy and mystery; plus some satire and comic humor.)

This design is rather simplistic since it is to be stamped in gold leaf. But scroll down at the above link and you can also see Allen's more detailed frontispiece for the book (with all his fabulous signature stippling!)
