Just spent three cold, windy, uncomfortable days in the high desert, and we had the misfortune to stay in a room where we could hear the room next door's alarm going off at 4.30 a.m. Thing is - the occupant wouldn't turn it off! Beep beep beep beep beeeeeeep. We had to call reception on the first night, then husband banged on the wall the second night. How the heck can you sleep through something like that when we can hear it next door? Sorry you're having a tough morning, Thad. |

I am talented. Broke one toe. Doctor thinks I broke a second toe but the x-rays were inconclusive about that one. I might even need surgery. I have to wait to see an orthopedic surgeonto find out. |

I broke my big toe two years ago playing soccer. I waited for hours at the hospital to get the x-rays. When I finally got them done, I waited for more endless hours for the results. The doctor confirmed the break but that there was nothing they could do for a broken toe. He told me to just take normal advil and it would heal on its own. |

I stubbed my toes when I tried to get into the bathroom before my wife. I've hit that corner of the bed frame harder then I did yesterday, I just ended up hitting it at a different angle. Thing is, it doesn't really even bother me that much. Both my wife and the doctor yelled at me for not going in sooner. Like I said, the doctor thinks I broke two toe but the break on my middle toe is so bad that trying to get it out of the way to get an xray of the other break was frustrating to no end. I'm supposed to be wearing a boot thing, but even when I have it fastened as tight as it will go, there's still a lot of play and it ended up hurting my foot more than anything. I've got my toes wrapped up like they showed me and wearing a sock and my tennis shoes. |
