So I come home to a message on the recorder from one of Mark's friends girlfriend. She is bawling her eyes out talking about how he hasn't come out of his room in two days and there is no sound and his elderly mother can't get in his room please go check on him. Mark went over a while ago and no one answered the door. We went over there a tiny bit ago and the house is dark and no one answers the door or phone. We will be going back in a little while to check. The girlfriend can't get over there and my god it was heartrenching to listen to the message. Mark has lost two friends in the past 3 months to heart attacks. I really hope this isn't something like that. |

Kellie and I had a date night tonight and saw Skillet at the Sprint Center with roughly 15,000 of our closest friends. My ears are still ringing. And I smell like fireworks. This was the 3rd time we've seen them live, and it's amazing and intense every time. |

Looked at 5 houses today. We had originally planned for 6, but apparently between Monday and today someone else put an offer in on one of the houses that was accepted. We saw 2 we really liked, and the other 3 were very "meh". |

Good luck Craig, and you should think about hiring an inspector to look any house over before you settle on it. It's cheap money compared to what you could be paying later on for repairs. |

Man, I'm a bit buzzed. I don't drink much anymore (*grrrr* I can already hear you guys) but I decided to have a beer while I was doing some light work around the house. I bought something called Bud Light Platinum while grocery shopping yesterday because the bottle looked cool and it was light beer. EEERRRRNNNNT (thats the sound that is made when you get the wrong answer on a quiz show). I just looked at the bootle, there's 6 % alcohol in the damn thing. The buzz is pleasant, but I wasn't prepared for it. Looks like I'll try to figure out how to run my blu ray player some other time. |

Hellolost: I urge you and everyone that if you think a friend or family member might be lying hurt or dying inside a house or apartment, definitely call 911 or get inside somehow. The worst that can happen is you wind up embarrassed and your friend gets his door kicked in. The best thing is you save his life. I hate to think that if someone I cared about had a heart attack and was unconscious or unable to answer the door, he'd be left there to die because someone didn't want to break a $4 pane of glass in a window. I'd hate it even worse if that was me on the floor. |

Bladerunner on AMC - lose. One of my all time favorite films, butchered by commercials for insurance, orange juice, assorted dubious drugs and wrinkle filler, and The Walking Dead showing Shane head-butting Rick over and over. The commercial breaks occured at every single poignant moment in the film, and rant rant rantrantrant.......  Okay, I feel better now

WTF is going on with bursting water pipes? Last Friday had to help a friend move some stuff into storage because the pipes in his apartment burst. Today, I have to help my mom move stuff into storage because the pipes in her apartment burst and flooded her living room and the apartment next to hers. |
