Wow there's a lot for you to read I've read Haunted by Palahniuk. I liked it, very unique. But then anything you read by him is going to be unusual and entertaining. I highly suggest you read Rant if you haven't already, such a good one! And if it's unique narratives you want than that is the book for you b/c it's told through testimonials. I was thinking about the Grin of the Dark, sounded good. And I recently heard about the book co-authored by Adrienne Barbeau, Vampyes of Hollywood. It sounds like it could be interesting too. Maybe a little camp but that can always be fun. |

I didn't think of Rant for that list. Thanks! I've heard of Barbeau's book and I definitly want to read it. I had a crush on her when I was a kid after seeing her in Escape from New York and watching her boobs try to bust out of there as well. I wish my library had a copy of Valis on audio. I've been trying to get my mother turned on to PDK(I actually typed, "turned on to Dick," at first ) and right now I've got her listening to the only audio of his they had, A Scanner Darkly. I've got Matter on my TBR which will be my first of Iain Bank's Culture novels. |

No I haven't. I'm a big King fan but the Dark Towers are the only books of his I've never read. Probably b/c I've never been that much into fantasy. But this year I decided it was time to just read em. I like them. The third book was my favorite so far. wizard and glass is going a little slow but I'm still liking it. |
