All right, it's the end of the month so I thought I'd post an update about where we're at with the upcoming gothic anthology I'm editing, Sinister Landscapes.
First of all, I am honored to announce that award-winning and bestselling author Andrea Dean Van Scoyoc has written the foreword for the book. I am thrilled to have her onboard.
As for the new writers that join us, here they are:

Thad and Gordon are regulars here on the boards so congrats on your stories!
We now have a total of 11 writers; 8 previously published and 3 unpublished. Still looking for more submissions, especially from previously published authors (even though I'm still expecting 2 or 3 stories from a couple of authors). Due to the length of the stories so far, I'm looking at maybe including 18 stories instead of 16 so that gives you a better chance of getting in. Remember, deadline is June 30th!
Thanks, Tony. I appreciate all the support you, Laurel, DGM, Craig and the others have given me the last few months. It gave me the courage to send something to Alan and now look at me.
I would also be remiss if I didn't add the following.
Please buy this book. It would be in support of Gordon and I, and also in support of Alan. If this book does well for him, he might do more. And more books means more chances for someone on here to submit something to Alan and become published, too.

That's beside the point though, I hope the book does well.
