Goddamn Ray Garton. I'm one chapter into his new book and I'm already deeply invested with his lead female character (or at least who I assume will be his lead female character - you never can tell with Garton), and I'm even invested with her husband (who is a bit of an boob and an asshole - however I'm not spoiling anything). However I came across this thread over at Shocklines and I thought I'd post it here. Ray is having some trouble with his taxes, (goddamn guvvmint) - and has come up with a unique scheme to help pay the bills. So if there are any would-be Bradburian firemen amongst our ranks - check it out. |

That is absolutely hilarious. I wish I could help out on that but I don't have any spare change lately. If it matters any I bought his book and I am really enjoying it so everyone else pick it up. |

Ray should auction off the name of a character in his next book. I have seen other authors do that and they usually get a couple thousand dollars. |
