We watched AN AMERICAN HAUNTING last night. A really good "demon in the house" movie. It stars Sissy Spacek and Donald Southerland. If you haven't seen this one, give it a try.

just watched the beyond for about the 50th time god do i love that film, hands down my favorite italian horror film. now just biding my time till my new netflix films come tomorrow, ive got the lost(jack ketchum), wrestlemaniac, southland tales, revolver new guy ritchie flick and 3 of the new after dark horrror fest films:unearthed, tooth and nail and the deaths of ian stone.

I'm not familiar with The Beyond. Can you tell me (us) a little bit about it?

yeah, its being released tomorrow. its directed by the guy who did i know who killed me, but i hear unlike that this is actually a good film.

they beyond is a zombie film by the master lucio fulci. a woman has inherited an old new orleans hotel which she foinds out is one of the 7 doors to hell, a gateway from hell to earth, and weird things start happening to people in or around the hotel, deaths and tarantula attacks. the film is fory as hell and has some of the finest moments in horror cinema IMO. definitely check it out if you can.

I saw Ju-On 2 last night. pretty solid J-Horror. This weekend is a toss-up for either Shutter or Doomsday. Doomsday is by the same guy who did Descent last year.

The end was a shocker! It was so different from the book that I was prepared for it. I left the theatre feeling so "wasted" from that ending.

I loved it.

just got back from cathcing doomsday, this was an awesome flcik definitely goes in my list of best post apocalyptic films after escape from new york and the road warrior. Rhona Mitra was great as the lead, and this had to have one of my favorite endings ever. definitely worth the ticket price.

I liked the previews...its good to know it lives up to the hype. I'll look for it on video or my cable system.
