I want to know who is partying, getting naked and bobbing for skulls this year? Me? I'm sitting home reading my way through a shitload of Jackie Collins. |

Happy Halloween, everyone! A quiet night for us. Night of the Demon, House of Wax, and Constantine (the TV series) on the telly. No treaters, so I'm left with a bag of Kit Kats and Twixes. And, we have rain. Not much, but better than nothing. It's reminding me of home - quiet nights and cooler temperatures. Halloween was always pretty subdued, mostly a herald of winter. Walk out with a jack 'o lantern and you'd see people building bonfires for the 5th Nov. Hardier revelers would climb Pendle Hill (home of the Pendle witches. I did it once - frosty cold/freezing rain, pitch dark, with drunken fools staggering up there after a skinful at the local pub. Not pretty.) |

No trick or treater's. But the hubby and I did enjoy some pizza, beer, Borderlands 2 and some Doctor Who. Not a bad night. |

I get bummed every year that kids today can't experience the real Halloween, the way it was before all the jolly wackos ruined it. |
