Has anyone read this series? I picked it up on a recommendation from a book store guy. The cover would have made me not buy it but the guy was so excited about it I figured I would try. I am loving this thing. A little heavy on the weaponry but other then that it is a fun fast read.

But it does go to prove that a cover can make or break a purchase for me.

I read the first book of the series. I thought it was pretty good.

I gave up about 80 pages in.

I have a few sample chapters of this, but haven't checked it out yet.
