My doll hatred comes from watching Barberella, I think.

When my son was little we let him watch a movie called Dolls. It was a scary movie about dolls coming to life and I really didn't think it was all that scary. Little did I know it traumatized him and he was scared shitless of dolls until he was in his teens. He told me the story when we were watching the original Chucky.

Chucky's just got a knife - I've got burning white hot rage to fuel me. No contest.
