Yeah, Taco Bell will cause deadly farts to stench your entire house up and give you nightmares after pigging out on their food, but it's like saying pizza sucks, right?

(Taco Bell Has A Dark Secret)....

A lawsuit filed in 1998 by Joseph Shields and Thomas Rinks alleged Taco Bell failed to pay them for use of the Chihuahua character they created. The men alleged that Taco Bell had breached payment on a contract after they worked with the restaurant chain for a year to develop the talking Chihuahua for use in marketing. The talking Chihuahua became a hit with the first advertisement, in which the character bypasses a female Chihuahua for a Taco Bell taco and declares: "Yo quiero Taco Bell." Taco Bell said it would appeal the verdict. The two men received $30.1 million, plus an addition of $11.4 million in interest.

In September 1997, the Taco Bell chihuahua was introduced. He spoke the line in commercials for their wildly popular "Yo quiero Taco Bell" campaign. In the Spanish language, yo quiero means I want . The little dog's real name was "Gidget", but that was never publicized in the ad campaign. The character was voiced by comedian, and cartoon voice-over artist, Carlos Alazraqui of Reno 911! and Rocko's Modern Life. By 1998, the Taco Bell chihuahua was known as the biggest commercial star on the planet, but his popularity dropped significantly by 2000.

Gidget was dropped as a spokesman for the Taco chain and was forced to appear in ads for local fast food eateries such as Big Al's Eat And Dump. Eventually even these ads proved elusive for him and the last time he was seen on t.v. was as one of the poor idividuals in the background from an unamed country shown in a Sally Struthers infomercial.

Gidget is now turning tricks in a barrio outside of Las Vegas. Hooked on heroin and his only food sustinence being the licking the discarded wrappers off of fast food items, he claims that he would never eat another Taco Bell food item again, even if it was served from a can.

We moved out of Toronto and I had a similar commute. About an hour and a half. We lasted a year and moved back to Toronto. Even with the much higher mortgage it is well worth it just for peace of mind.

Oh man, the pope is on tour in the states again. Did anyone catch the 'apology' he gave for all the sexual abuse dished out by horny priests who love children in the wrong sense of the word 'love'?

I'm sure that meant a hell of a lot to the kids who were thrown into religion without even knowing how truly corrupt, based on lies, misleading, and full of crap it all is, only to have a sweaty, old priest do the unthinkable.

Something about seeing all those people round up all together in the stadium like cattle, to hear him speak, is very creepy and scarier than any horror novel I've ever read.

The pope freaks me out:
