I would say go with The Rising and The City of the Dead. Two books that put him on the map and one of his better efforts.

Both SNOW and THE ASCENT are very good. Snow is my personal favorite.

The list is even longer when it comes to his more recent novels. I think THE GOOD GUY is the last one I read.

Okay, looks like STRANGERS just moved to the top of my TBR list! I see it's out in a new trade paperback edition in the stores, but I'll stick with my ancient small print copy!

Reading both Conspiracies (Repairman Jack #3) by F. paul Wilson and The Keeper by Sarah Langan.

I'm getting through Conspiracies at a MUCH quicker pace.

I was reading FEVER DREAM by Preston Child on my Kindle and then went to read it on my iTouch. I started to read and thought that I might have missed part of the flashback or something. It took me a bit to realize I was reading FEVRE DREAM by George R.R. Martin. So I finished the Preston Child on Monday and finished the Martin today. I think I'm going to move on to THE ARMAGEDDON CHORD by Jeremy Wagner and then on to ARMAGEDDON RAG by Martin (does anyone see a pattern here?)

I just bought the mmpb version on Wednesday. Granted, it will be awhile before I get to it, but I'm curious if it's a good one.
