Tony, as far as I'm aware, there are no Davids or Dennises in the aforementioned 'hell of an idea', but your question has inadvertently thrown up a couple of character name suggestions.

I didn't give this a single thought while on vacation, to be honest.

However, I'm back home, a kernel of an idea is forming, and I will be starting on it within the next couple days.

I've had an idea for this story (as well as 3-4 others) in my head for over a month now, and have yet to write anything.

Sometimes I wonder if I've made a mistake in wanting to be a writer. It's something that should always be at the forefront, yet I always find myself immersed in things other than writing.

Got most my story figured out in the hind brain, but I'm having a bloody hell of a job concentrating, bringing it forth and getting it done (this, and another project). A lot on my mind.

Working on mine right now, before I pick up Emma from Kindergarten. I actually have two ideas, but we'll see if one or both get finished.

Kealan has only received two stories thus far, out of the 8 of us that signed up. Of course, there's still 5 more days to go (counting today).

I would ask that anyone thinking of foregoing this round reconsider. The story doesn't have to be polished or perfect - a first draft will do fine. The entire goal of this exercise is to simply get something down on paper. Or on the screen, I guess. It can always be edited later, and you'll have the luxury of getting feedback to help.

I suppose I just don't want to see this go around be a bust, after Kealan was gracious enough to agree to being our moderator.
