Politics are boring me. I refuse to listen to the media as both sides are kind of turning my stomach. I will make my own choice based on my own research of real facts not things made up because some journalist is bored. I really think we need a third viable party. One right in the middle of the two biggies. Most likely that would get my vote. For now though I will read about all candidates and pick the one I want. I really don't care what party they are as long as their belief system is sound.

And the whole abortion thing. They should just shut up about it. No person who gets in office will ever be able to make it illegal. Not without any kind of civil uprising this country has not seen in some time.

Thing is, they're circumventing the Constitution anyway they can. Here in Virginia they passed a law that requires any medical facility that does outpatient work to meet hospital standards and promptly gave exemptions to everything but abortion clinics. What are those requirements? They need to have enough space in the hallway for two gurneys to be wheeled around side by side with room enough for a third gurney. Parking spaces need to double. And so on. There are about 2 dozen or so clinics in Virginia and with the new standards only 4 facilities will be able to meet them.

In Arizona they just passed a law that states that you're pregnant two weeks before you get pregnant.

It goes on and on and they are getting away with it.

I was out watering the garden this morning and the sun was in my eyes so I was cocking my head a bit and squinting. All of the sudden the sun was out of my eyes. I looked up and there was a GIANT Blue Heron perched on my chimney! It was blocking out the sun and all I saw was it's black silhouette. It only stayed a moment, then flew off and the sun was in my eyes again. That was cool!

Indy cars... some damned endurance race right after... Sprint Cup (although I managed to watch Copper some time in the midst of it)... and now we're waitng for Formula 1 to start...

Well I have a small lump in my breast. I had another squish job and then an ultrasound. They want me to wait six months and have another mammogram to see if there is any changes. If there are then we will talk options.

I'm no doctor but...shouldn't they test the lump to determine if it's cancerous?

That is what I thought but I guess not. Maybe they can tell with the ultrasound. Hell I don't know

I decided about a half an hour ago that I am just not going to worry about it. They want to see me in six months fine. I won't worry until I actually have something to worry about. It was like a giant weight fell off. Go me. lol

Jody, there are so many things that it could be that you're probably doing the right thing. The only thing I'd suggest is, if you really want to know, call them and make them give you a detailed clarification on why they're making you wait six months. You are your own best advocate. Make your doctors explain everything to you.

I had the same thing a few years ago. Come back in six months they said, and it was always in the back of my mind, and then six months later, a shrug and "You're fine" and that was that. All that worry for nothing.

Always good to have it checked out though.
