And that's it. I mean it, no more books for awhile. I'll have nothing left from my economic stimulus package. I guess its better than buying a t.v.

I read them and they're not for everyone but I think most of the folks here would enjoy them.

Tt. At least you still have an economic stimulus package. All my extra funds have to go to hospital and doctor co-pays. No books for me for awhile. At least I have Gypsy Blood to look forward to... it was pre-ordered.

Yeah really, what a nice lady. Thanks for the offer to send me the books Laurel, but right now I think I've done myself in for the entire summer with my to be read pile. It's not even funny how high my books to be read pile is. I had planned on ending it at all the Braunbeck books I bought, but after reading November Mourns, I went out and spent more money on the rest of Piccirilli's works.

Thanks for the info on books, TT. Like I was telling Laurel, I think I better read all the Braunbeck's and Piccirilli's before I blow any more cash. I think I'm set for summer reading. If I finish my to be read pile, I'll read the others sooner.

The Fever Kill is not only a great novel, its a fast, fun read. If you continue with it you'll find that it won't take long to finish and you can get right back to Choir Of Ill Children (which thankfully will take you longer to read).

The Fever Kill is my second favorite of all of Pic's novels with Fucking Lie Down Already closely behind it. If you like Fever Kill, walk, don't run...err....get out of here quickly and go over to Amazon and order Fucking Lie Down Already, you will be in for one of the most brutal, and man...I mean brutal....crime/revenge novels you will ever read.

I'll say it again: November Mourns is the best novel Pic has ever written and it is my favorite novel of all time! The Fever Kill in my opinion is the second best Pic has ever written with Fucking LIe Down Already coming in third. The Cold Spot takes the next postion. If you go to Tom's website (hit Mass Market up above) you'll see that I've posted my opinions on each of these books.
