We could always extend the deadline another month, if it'll give folks enough time to finish. I would also like for this to be a success, since this is the first time I've participated in a group writing exercise.

In fact, if we fail to get at least four total stories, I'd like to request that my story please not be posted. Simply because, if this exercise is going to be a bust, I'd rather retain the story to try to submit somewhere as a previously unpublished piece (something I can't really claim if it's been posted online).

I'll have mine ready, sometime Monday.

Pounded out 812 words last night. Felt good.

I'll have it by the end of the day if it kills me.

Well, I started the story this morning and finished tonight. Barely proof read, in desperate need of rewrites but I am submitting, warts and all, thanks to Craig's encouragement. When you read it please be gentle.

I just attempted a last-second blitz writing session, while simultaneously trying to keep Ethan from getting into anything and everything around the house.

My story is a complete and utter mess, but it's submitted.
