First off, a special thank you to all the readers who sent in their photographs for the Reader Gallery competition. Each and every one of the entries was terrific! Ultimately though, we had to choose just one winner, a task so daunting...we passed it along to someone else. The winning entry was chosen by special guest judge , an actress well known for her memorable roles in There's Something About Mary, Kingpin, Dumb & Dumber, Dead End, Detroit Rock City, 2001 Maniacs, and most recently, Snakes On A Plane. She's also one of the most down-to-earth and generous people we've ever had the pleasure to deal with. In Lin's own words to me: "I had a very difficult time picking, as they are all wonderful and thoughtful, and [the readers] should all continue reading your work and taking photos!" In addition to our prize of a signed, inscribed copy of CURRENCY OF SOULS, and a signed slipcased edition of the anthology TAVERNS OF THE DEAD, edited by Kealan, and signed by over two dozen of the horror genre's finest authors, Lin has offered to send signed photos from her roles in any of the following movies: There's Something About Mary, Detroit Rock City, Kingpin and Snakes On A Plane or 2001 Maniacs to not just the winner, but everyone who entered!
