Post subject:  Enter at Your Own Risk anthologies

Welcome to Firbolg Publishing! I want to introduce our anthology series to you. Every year we release a themed anthology. The Enter at Your Own Risk series is a unique entry into the world of anthologies. Each release has not only modern authors, but classic masters from the Gothic period. Our first, Old Masters, New Voices juxtaposed classic tales from Poe, Lovecraft, Stoker, and others with modern writers capturing the same tone, atmosphere and thematic elements of the Gothic stories. Last year, we released the gay-themed Fires and Phantoms as book two in the series. Masters like Edith Wharton, and Ralph Adams Cram sit side by side with such critically acclaimed authors as Andrew Wolter, B.E. Scully, Ted Cornwell, and Richard Hall. We are thrilled to have our third volume due out in October this year. Dark Muses, Spoken Silences puts four famous tales and eight authors together. Every story has other 'voices,' secondary characters that are only heard from the protagonist's point of view. What did they see? What did they think? Find out in October when we explore the literary voice of the subaltern in Poe's "The Black Cat," Polidori's "The Vampyre," Irving's "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow," and Lovecraft's "The Call of Cthulhu."
