Post subject:  Get Noticed with Books of the Dead

There’s only one reason to pay for advertising: to promote. There are only two reasons to promote: One – gain awareness. Two – make money.

If you spend $1000 on advertising and in return you receive $50 in sales, you'll need $950 in brand awareness just to break even. However – if you spend $50 on advertising and receive $50 in sales, everything you gained in awareness is profit. As an advertiser, that’s what you’re looking for: PROFIT. If you spend $50 in advertising and receive $150 in return your profit is $100 plus awareness. In this case I would argue that every day you don’t spend $50 in advertising you are losing $100 plus brand awareness.

Question: How do you LOSE with advertising?
Answer: Spend too much and receive too little.

Question: How do you WIN with advertising?
Answer: For every $1 you spend gain a value of $1.01 or more.

Question: What’s the stupidest way to run a business?
Answer: Spend time, energy, and/or money building a product or brand and fail to promote properly.

When I decided to help authors, publishers, businesses, and artists promote their products I didn’t realize two things:

One – how desperate people were for solid, honest, affordable advertising.
Two – how much value Books of the Dead Press brings to the table.

Within a couple of weeks I had a client list of over two-dozen artists, authors, and businesses, and every one of those clients ending up being a winner in the advertising gamble. How was this achieved? By charging a small amount and offering huge value.

Most of my clients had a monetary gain that was equal to, or greater than, the money they spent. The ones that didn’t see immediate sales obtained product/brand awareness with a value greater than the money they spent. How do I know this? My blog is currently receiving nearly 15,000 hits per month, and my 4 Twitter accounts have a combined following of over 22,000 people – most of them horror fans. I posted my clients work on my blog, and my facebook page, and tweeted about them endlessly.

If you punch ‘Book Tweeting Service’ into your search engine you’ll find a company selling book tweets. They’ll tweet your book for 5 days - for this they’re charging $125.00!

I’ve been charging $15 for a blog post – and I’ll tweet for over a month. My tweets alone are worth more than I’m charging.

If you are looking to build your brand, NOW – before Christmas – is the best time. No matter how successful you are, advertising with Books of the Dead is a good business move.

I am currently offering three affordable services:

Option One: Blog Post plus tweets
Price: $15 – one time fee.
Description: Send me your product info (up to 350 words). Include a link to your Amazon page if you’ve got one. I’ll create a blog post and tweet the hell out of it.

Option Two: Front Page Blog Promo
Price: $20 per week/$60 per month.
Description: Send me your Amazon link, or product info, and I’ll have it sit on the front page of the blog – top right hand corner - for all to see.

Option Three: Twitter Account Build
Price: $30 per week – 4-week minimum.
Description: Having trouble gaining Twitter followers? Let me be your Twitter bitch. I’ll take any TWO accounts and I’ll get you thousands and thousands of Twitter followers. Not fake accounts… REAL accounts – YOUR TARGET MARKET. I guarantee a minimum of a least 5,000 new followers. (My first client gained over 1,000 new followers (horror fans) within the first 36 hours.)
