I'm leaving tomorrow for Killercon. It will be my first. I've had to cancel each of the previous conventions, but this time everything is working out. I'm really looking forward to this. Not only is it being run by some of my very favorite people, but a lot of my other favorite people are going to be there as well. Man. I cannot tell you how much this is going to energize me. Now during the mornings, I'm going to have to write. I need to do at least 10 pages a day to get ahead with ST 666. But in the evenings it'll be time to play. Especially Friday evening. I've decided to make my reading into a multimedia event. I'll be reading my story Playlist at the End which appeared in Shock Totem. I'll also include cuts from all the songs, to include War Pigs, Muskrat Love, Separate Ways, Girls on Film, Let's Get the Party Started, Man of Constant Sorrow, Stan and much more. I wrote this story over a year ago with the intent on creating a narrative where the MP3 playlist is intrinsically linked. I think I succeeded pretty well. Now to share it with all of you who haven't read it yet-- or for those of you who have, think of this as the Director's Cut. This is gonna rock. 7:30 PM Friday! Oh yeah. There's already been a request to have dancing girls on Soul Train boxes. Wrath? Can you arrange that, please? |

Went to Killer Con. One of the best moments was meeting Wes. Seemed like a real pleasant guy. |
